The One True Game

Do other party card games leave you feeling... empty inside?

Cult Following is a storytelling game where you convince your friends that the eternal truths that you just made up should command devotion, while their fanatical ravings are just plain ridiculous.

Choose ideas from a hand of cards, bind them together into a ridiculous cult and pitch it to your friends. Answer pointed questions from potential recruits, defending your own ideas while attacking the lies of the other cultists. Describe how your cult ascends into fame and fortune, while others languish in obscurity!

Will your friends heed your warning about timid forest creatures, shapeshifting and unspeakable horrors, or will another cult steal your rightful followers?

Doing it all wrong

I will fix you

Hitting two rocks together
Doing it all wrong
It will all blow over
I will fix you
A children's ball pit
Hitting two rocks together
Perpetual poverty
"Have you ever wondered why the world is so screwed up? We have discovered that humans have been doing it all wrong. Fossil fuels? Wrong. Wars? Wrong. Politics? Wrong. Relationships? Wrong. Everything that you do? Wrong. But, I will fix you. What you need to do is return to the basics. Forget everything, literally everything, that you ever knew and start over. Start over from the ground up. If you begin again then you, and everyone else, can do things right. Our members spend the days hitting two rocks together, trying to re-discover stone tools. We will re-build human knowledge from the foundation up. But this time we will do it right!"
